I am thrilled to have been chosen to be one of eight writers in residence at “Love Comes in at the Eye,” an annual retreat for established writers in Connemara, Ireland, now scheduled for May of 2021.
This season’s hosts are former NPR correspondent and author Jacki Lyden, and National and American Book Award-winning and 3x Pulitzer Prize finalist Alice McDermott. In addition to capturing the clouds of Connemara in whatever medium I have at hand, I will be working to complete my novel which now stands at 67,500 words…and counting.
The retreat closes with a public reading recorded by Connemara Community Radio.
